Hi! I’m a board-certified pediatrician, fellowship trained in academic general pediatrics. I transitioned from academic medicine to working in managed care in 2013 and am currently the Associate Chief Medical Officer for a Health Plan based out of my home state of Illinois.

In March of 2019, I completed a certification in life and weight coaching from The Life Coach School and launched Life Coaching for Gifted. I have advanced certifications in physician coaching, leadership coaching, and deep dive coaching. I think of myself as a wife, mother, coach, pediatrician, health care executive and life long learner. Before coaching externally I seemed to “have it all figured out” yet I was filled with disappointment, self-hatred, and imposter syndrome. All that changed when I found coaching. I coach myself every day and get regular coaching. I use thought work as a leadership tool to lead my team and to nurture the leader within.

Neurodivergence runs deep in my family. As I developed my coaching practice, I felt drawn to the neurodivergent community, especially physicians. Twice exceptionality, multi-exceptionality, and neurodiversity are relatively new terms and I want to introduce them to the physician community and help physicians with the guilt, shame, and limiting beliefs that come with a diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disorder, autism spectrum disorder or any other disability. I see the gifts and beauty that come with the different ways our brains work.

I work with you to harness those gifts, not squelch them. Executive functioning is one of my superpowers. When you coach with me we sprinkle in executive functioning strategies tailored to what works best for you. Let’s work with your strengths, address the negative self-talk and get you on the path to productivity, efficiency, and self-acceptance.
